WHY GET A COACH?

“The miracle isn’t that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.”

- John Bingham

What does a coach do for you?

A running coach provides personalized guidance tailored to your specific goals, abilities, and body, which is far more effective than generic training plans or just "winging it".

Stop waiting for "one day" and turn it into "day one".

Pro Treatment

You may not be a professional, but does that mean you should be treated any differently? You deserve good training just as much as anyone else.

Most importantly, you don't need to be the fastest runner to get a coach. Everyone can benefit from having a running coach.

Injury Prevention

Generic plans can work against you and cause injuries. You need a coach to help find the right balance of enough stimulus for growth while not so much that you get hurt.

This alone can save you months of downtime and frustration or even physical therapy appointments and bills.

Accountability

You can run more than you think, and sometimes it helps to have someone motivating you and keeping you accountable.

Coaches are here to help when you start to lose motivation so you can stay consistent when the going gets tough.

Most runners don't like strength training, but it can vastly improve your running form and results. Coaches can put together a reasonable strength plan to help you get the strength you need for the results you want.

Strength

Science backed plans

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all program, a coach builds a plan around your fitness level, schedule, lifestyle, and goals. They adjust intensity, volume, and recovery based on how your body actually responds—not some generic template that doesn't adapt.

Have you run into a road block and can't progress further? Maybe every time you try to push you end up injured. Need help figuring out your nutrition and pacing strategy?

A coach will be able to help with these issues and find solutions for you.

Problem-solving

Your Time

Do you want to spend all of your time putting together workouts, researching what's best, trying to get the latest science...or would you rather just go out and run?

A coach can help make sure your time goes where it really makes a difference.
